Our new Jurassic mala is handmade with 108 (+1 guru bead) gorgeous genuine 6mm Amber (fossilized pine tree sap) beads, knotted and tasseled with premier quality, long staple, highly mercerized Egyptian cotton.
The Vikings considered amber to be the tears of Freyja, goddess of love and beauty, while for the ancient Greeks, amber was the tears of the sun god Apollo's daughters.
Please note that amber beads are easily scratched and potentially flammable. To clean these delicate amber beads, use only mild soap, room temperature tap water and a very soft cloth.
